Unlimited Hosting Policy

Transparency is our priority. Discover exactly what “Unlimited” and “Unmetered” mean when you host your website with IndoWebs.

Last Updated: August 2026

At IndoWebs, we want to ensure that you never have to worry about hitting arbitrary limits as your website grows. When we advertise “Unlimited” or “Unmetered” resources, it means we do not set hard limits on these specific features under normal, standard website operations.

However, “Unlimited” does not mean infinite. All hosting accounts operate on physical servers with physical boundaries. This policy clarifies our definitions to ensure fair resource availability for all our customers.

What “Unlimited” Actually Means

In the web hosting industry, “Unlimited” means you will not be billed based on the amount of disk space or bandwidth you use, provided you are operating a standard small-to-medium business website, personal blog, or portfolio.

Over 99% of our customers will never hit any system limits. For the 1% who run highly resource-intensive applications, we provide seamless upgrade paths to Virtual Private Servers (VPS) or Dedicated Servers.

Unlimited Disk Space

Your unlimited disk space must be used strictly for the active files, code, and databases necessary to run your website. It is designed to accommodate HTML, PHP, CSS files, and web-optimized images.

  • You can upload as many web pages and web assets as your site needs.
  • You cannot use your hosting account as an online backup drive (e.g., storing cPanel backups, PC backups, or ZIP archives).
  • You cannot use the server for media hosting, mass image hosting, or file-sharing platforms.

Unlimited Bandwidth

We provide unmetered data transfer so you never have to worry about traffic spikes or overage charges. Your website can serve as many visitors as the server’s CPU and RAM allow.

  • Normal HTML/PHP traffic and visitor interactions are completely unmetered.
  • Bandwidth cannot be used for streaming high-definition video or audio hubs.
  • Serving downloadable software, ISOs, or functioning as a CDN (Content Delivery Network) node is prohibited on shared plans.

Unlimited Email Accounts

You are free to create as many @yourdomain.com email addresses, aliases, and forwarders as you need for your team.

To protect server IP reputation and ensure fast performance, the following reasonable restrictions apply to the “Unlimited” email feature:

  • Create infinite email user accounts for your organization.
  • Inboxes have individual storage caps (typically 1GB to 5GB per inbox, depending on the plan) to prevent server bloat.
  • Hourly outbound sending limits apply (e.g., 200 emails/hour) to prevent spam and bulk mailing.

Unlimited Databases

You can create an unlimited number of MySQL/MariaDB databases for your various scripts, staging sites, and applications.

  • Unlimited individual database creation.
  • Databases must be optimized. Queries that consistently lock the CPU will be restricted.
  • Individual database sizes are typically soft-capped (e.g., 1000 MB) to ensure fast automated backups and optimal read/write speeds.

What is NOT allowed on Unlimited Plans?

To protect the integrity of our network, the following uses are strictly forbidden on our Unlimited Shared and Reseller Hosting plans:

  • File hosting/sharing scripts (e.g., Nextcloud, ownCloud, Rapidshare clones).
  • Backup storage (storing old cPanel backups, automated PC backups).
  • Image hosting scripts (similar to Photobucket or Imgur).
  • Video/Audio streaming sites (e.g., YouTube clones).
  • Continuous, high-frequency web scraping or crawling bots.
